Start your Tour in Accra at a location of your choice. First, we will begin the excursion with the W.E.B. DuBois Centre and Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. Established in 1992, this mausoleum is dedicated to the prominent Ghanaian President Kwame Nkrumah and is situated on the site of the former British colonial polo grounds in Accra. It wouldn’t be a tour of Accra without visiting the busiest beach in Ghana coast, La Pleasure Beach, and Independence Square where the annual independence celebration as well as other national events are usually held. Throughout your excursion, you will also learn more about the history of the Gold Coast, the Afro-American and the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Finally, we will end the Accra tour by visiting the Arts Centre, where you can find beautiful local handmade crafts.
